Good afternoon all,

It's April already and we are heading towards the end of the year at a blistering pace.

We need to get something in place for this years bash and give the guys enough time to prep, save and plan their leave etc.

I for one would like to have it somewhere in the middle of the country but I do not have any reference to places and facilities on that side of the world. Is there anybody willing to stick out his head and plan this??

Jaco

Good morning all,

With the first quarter of 2021 already gone I didn't want to be stranded like a ship in the Suez Canal without a venue of a date.

Date was proposed and this year Abrahamskraal Guest farm will again play host to the 1100/1150 Bash! 29 - 31 October 2021

Those of you that attended in 2018 can bear testimony to this awesome venue and the amazing food and scenery.  I am giving the date etc well in advance especially if you have to plan your travels and holidays which most of us needs to do. This also opens the opportunity to split payments and make it a little more affordable instead of paying it all at once. Please get into contact to book a room, dorm or camping spot.

I will post details costs etc as soon as I receive them from the venue. The objective is to make this as affordable as possible to get maximum attendance.

found the following information after buying the NTN 6917 BIG bearing (R690) instead of the FAG 61917 /C3 bearing at BMW for R1 961
everone say you need the C3 spec, and only available from BMW

this is what i found on the NTN documentation
Radial internal clearance
Radial internal clearance are the same as those
for standard deep groove ball bearings. With
standard fit and application conditions, a C3
clearance is used. For more detailed information
concerning this bearing and the availability of
roller bearings contact NTN Engineering.

Hi guys, I would like to attend.
Please can I book a single room, thanks.

I will be riding from Cannon Rocks, EC.

Awesome! I will put you in room 7 in the main house. If a couple wants to join I might have to move you to a room with 2 single beds. But lets see.

75W140 recommended @ 180 ml
Tutorial with pictures by Jim von Baden.
I have a late 2006 model according to the VIN so the process was different ie easier. It was not necessary to disconnect the drive shaft as the drain plug was at the bottom.
It also wasnt necessary to remove the caliper.
The filler was also a seperate allen key at the 11 o’clock position and not as depicted here.
All in all a very simple job.
